How much spending money would you bring?

I'm going on a Model UN conference for school next week (it's a mock simulation of the United Nations). It'll be held in Chicago (at a hotel) and I'll be gone for 4 days. We get there on a Thursday afternoon and leave Sunday morning. We'll be in our committee from 9am-10pm (at the latest) on Friday and Saturday, so we won't be leaving the hotel at all. We're planning on eating pretty cheaply (fast food) and going to a nice restaurant Saturday night. The only thing that people usually buy there besides food are sweatshirts or shirts from the university hosting it (University of Chicago). So how much money would you bring for 4 days if the only thing you're going to be buying is food and maybe a sweatshirt? How much spending money would you bring?
Since you want to get a sweatshirt I would say from $220 to 250 should cover that and your food.

I've always wanted to go to Chicago!:)

Have fun!:)
Here are my estimates -

Fast Food: $8 per meal (3 times a day?) - $24 a day (4 days?) $96? [this feels like it's a bit high.]

Nice Meal: $24

Sweatshirts: $20

Plus like $25 extra just incase.

That adds up to... $165?How much spending money would you bring?
Well, it's not really 4 days if you leave Sun. morning and get there Thurs. afternoon. For two and a half days, just for the food and a sweatshirt, maybe $250? If you plan to go to fast food restaurants mainly, $150.
$250.
