Places to Eat in Chicago?

We are going to Chicago next week, and staying at the Hilton. We are not too familiar with the city, and we are looking for somewhere good to eat. Maybe something a little different/unique, but not too expensive. What about Chicago-style pizza? Hot dogs? Where would you recommend? Or, restaurants in any ethnic neighborhoods? Please say why you like these places and the pricing.Places to Eat in Chicago?
You absolutely have to go to Gino's East. THE place for Chicago pizza in the Windy City.

The pizzas are huge and absolutely to-die-for, while the atmosphere is trendy and entertaining. The staff has always been great to me, even though they're usually incredibly busy.

A pizza will cost you around 15-20 bucks, depending on the size and toppings. Here's a menu:

Giordano's is the best for true Chicago pizza, in my opinion. I agree with the assessment of the Wiener Circle, too- it's a hoot.

Greektown (any restaurant there, really).

Never been a big fan of SuperDawg, although the demon eyes on the larger-than-life hotdogs on the roof are pretty cool. Byron's on Irving Park Rd. and Sheridan is good, too...

I despise Home Run Inn pizza- who buys pizza at ballparks, anyway?Places to Eat in Chicago?
Gold Coast Hot Dog. Best dogs around.
Try either Giordonos Pizza or the Weiner Circle on Clark. But try the Cirle after 10pm on a weekend. Its an experience you'll never forget.
Hmmm, my fave places in Chi are: 9 but its really expensive. Go to greektown they have the best food :). Trust me you do not need us to tell you chicago has food everywhere and its all GREAT :)
Giordano's! Its an Italian restaurant with the best deep dish Chicago pizza and a great atmosphere! Portillos is another local place with the best hot dogs and Italian Beef sandwiches!
Right now - I am hooked on Jewish delis - pastrami - mmmmm!!!!

Manny's - this is almost more of a cafeteria, but the food is great and it's such the Chicago institution. You'll get the best corned beef here, in my opinion. (A very short cab ride from downtown).

Also Italian Village, the Borghough (spelling), Bandera on Michigan Ave is good. Check out Yelp.com you wil get pretty consistent views there along with directions and phone number.
wow, these people on here are like clones i guess they all have the same tastebuds, if you are looking for a good chicago hotdog then go to superdawg its been standing for almost 60years that must mean something and its a drive in. now for pizza you have to go with connies..they are a chicago staple!!! go to any baseball game whos pizza are they serving...another good chicago pizza is home run inn. if you wanna spend some money though go to the chicago fire house..the food is great and also try al's charhouse a steak is about 25 bucks but its seriously almost the size of your head and it tastes great.. i took a date there one time and spent about 90 and by the time out steaks were ready we were almost full.
