My friends and I are going To chicago

to shop in a few weeks.

We plan on walking up and down michigan avenue.

Are there any good restaurants, boutiques,

stores, resale shops, record stores, pools, ANYTHING interesting?

Or anything NEAR michigan avenue like

on wacker that could entertain us?

Any good malls besides Watertower Place,

Neiman marcus, and nordstrom??

We're interested in anything you

find the least exciting, pleasee let us

in on your secrets.

Thanks! (:What does Michigan Avenue in Chicago have to offerr?!?
Michigan Avenue is relatively high-end, you know.... That is, it's not cheap for a teen or young adult. Besides being tourist heavy, you've got all your downtown office people milling about.

If you're interested in thrifting, affordable boutiques, etc., you might want to hop on the Red Line and disembark at Belmont or try Wicker Park off the Blue Line (Damen and Division stops will work).

Of course there are interesting things to find in the city; no need to insult us that way. But you need to do a little research based on your interests. Seeking leads on Yahoo! Answers is one of many starting points.
The way you phrased your question about resale, record shops and malls...leads me to believe you wouldn't enjoy shopping on Michigan Ave.

That area is considered "The Mag Mile" and has many of the best stores....or sorry, most are actually boutiques in the world. Designers such as Luca Luca and Bottega Veneta, Ferragamo..ringing any bells to you?

For some reason I don't think so.

Case in point I suggest you stick with places like Water tower or State Street, if you are looking for resale shop Lincoln Park area has alot of really fun funky ones. What does Michigan Avenue in Chicago have to offerr?!?
