What restaurant(s) do I NEED visit in Denver, Colorado?

My wife and I are taking a cross-country road trip adventure to Vegas from Chicago for a week. We're visiting places you see on "Diners, Drive-Ins, %26amp; Dives" on the Food Network when we go through Kansas, but the show never featured any restaurants in Colorado, and we're stopping over in Denver. So what is the one thing we absolutely need to try in the area (or from Denver on the way to Vegas) or the best restaurant with food we can't get in Chicago. Any suggestions? What restaurant(s) do I NEED visit in Denver, Colorado?
On my cousins birthday we went to this place called Diccicos. It has a variety of dinners an desserts. Please try it out. I LIKE PIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't say enough about this place. I'm from New York and I love their pizza. It might be a bit upscale compared to some of the places I've seen on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, but just check out the reviews on yelp http://www.yelp.com/biz/marcos-coal-fire鈥?/a> or google Marco's Coal Fired Pizza, you'll get plenty more hits.

Marco鈥檚 Coal-Fired Pizza is certified as an authentic Neapolitan restaurant by the Verace Pizza Napoletana 鈥?the only certified restaurant in Colorado, and one of only 40 in the USA. Need I say more. Also has great atmosphere and is near Coor's stadium

Have a wonderful trip..What restaurant(s) do I NEED visit in Denver, Colorado?
Domo, Japanese restaurant http://www.domorestaurant.com/

- sort of in a secluded area with plenty of parking space

- love the architecture and the mini garden area

- food is Japanese country style and sushi

Imperial, Chinese restaurant http://www.imperialchinese.com/

- I think sometimes the food is superb and other times I think they are riding on their coattails...

Le Central, French restaurant http://www.lecentral.com/

- champagne brunch!
The Chefs that are driving the Denver scene are at the following restaurants... LOLA's, TAG, Barolo Grill, Vesta Dipping Grill/Stuebens, Elways, Panzano, Masterpiece Deli and the following are on our most iconic block... Rioja, Osteria Marco. That will give you plenty of options for whatever you are in the mood for and are not planning on eating in Chicago.
A few ideas:

Buckhorn Exchange - a Denver institution, nice variety of game meats, near downtown

The Fort - fine dining with views and game meats, in nearby Morrison

Arada - if you haven't tried Ethiopian, you must have dinner at Arada. The food is wonderful and it's an experience you won't forget (on Santa Fe)

For Mexican go to Patzcuaro in north Denver

For New Mexican go to Jack n Grill on Federal
I'm from Denver and there are sooooo many good places to eat. I guess you have to decide what kind of food i.e. American, Chinese, Mexican.

Here is a list of some of the most popular and great restaurants in Denver
Casa Bonita. Great food+entertainment=Casa Bonita. They have an arcade, a waterfall, divers, and plays--which end up with the bad guy falling into the water. It is awesome, though.
