Northern Virginia Tourist Attractions?

I have a friend from France over and we are looking for some tourist attractions. We live in northern Virginia and hope to have around a 2 hour or less drive to the attraction. Sightseeing is not our thing so Luray caverns or the Shenandoah valley aren't great suggestions. Things we would enjoy doing include go karting, disc golf, water parks, and activities of that nature. Any suggestions of some specific places?Northern Virginia Tourist Attractions?
Water parks:

The Water Mine at Lake Fairfax park, Reston

Splash Down in Ben Lomond Park, Manassas

Water Park at Bull Run Regional Park, Centreville

Go Karts:

Grand Prix AllSport indoor go kart track, Dulles

Multiple activities (including disc golf, hiking, other events such as nature walks, concerts, ect) check the northern virginia park authority, the fairfax county parks and Prince william parks. They have lots of events happening at local parks through out the summer.Northern Virginia Tourist Attractions?
Visiting Wineries in Northern Virginia is a great activity that is not touristy and a lot of fun.

Fairfax, VA has a water park at Lake Fairfax; there are also water parks at Six Flags in Maryland, and King's Dominion.
