Carnival Fascination or Rccl Gradeur of the seas?

Going to take a cruise this spring break fairly soon and have narrowed it down to 2 ships. Which is in general better and or has the least amount of problems. They are both fairly older and I want to make sure that the ship doesn't have any major problems. Taking family with 2 teens have been on both carnival and royal. any help/ experience would be great

I would say Carnival Fascination. The Fascination was given a multi-million dollar refurbishment while in dry dock during September 2006. It included all 1,026 staterooms and suites were completely renovated with the addition of flat-screen TVs, new furnishings, and refurbished bathrooms

the Coconut Grove Bar and Grill received new carpeting and upholstery, as did the Passage to India Lounge

the Grand Atrium Bar was added on the Empress Deck

Caf茅 on the Way, a new coffee bar, was added to the Promenade Deck

a new 9-hole miniature golf course opened on the Sun Deck

the 1,600-square-foot (150 m2) Children's World, a new Camp Carnival facility, was added to the Verandah Deck

Club O2, a club exclusively for teens, was added

an art gallery opened on the Empress Deck allowing passengers to view artwork available at auctions on-board

a new photo gallery on the Promenade Deck allows passengers to view photos taken by staff on-board

And this is just some of the upgrades. You should have absolutely no problem.

If you need any further help feel free me to contact me. I am an independant travel agent very familiar with both cruise lines. FYI, travel agents can usually get you lower rates :) as well.

Either way, best of luck, and great sailing.
