If you offered Royal Caribbean enough money...?

could you buy the Oasis of the Seas for your own personal use? Lets say some rich arab offers them 10 billion+ dollars for the ship... would they let him have it since it would be a big profit for RCCL?

This is in theory btwIf you offered Royal Caribbean enough money...?
According to Wikipedia, Oasis cost $1.4 Billion to construct and took 2 years to complete (from first lay down to launch). For a price of $10+ Billion, RCL could afford to take another 2 years to build another ship and still have a sizable profit.

Therefor, I think it would be a winning proposition for RCL.
I doubt it, the ship is a continuous money maker for the company and I doubt they'd sell it for a one-time sum until it is time to "retire" it as an old, outdated ship.

In the long run, they would lose money if they sold it.If you offered Royal Caribbean enough money...?
If I had 10 billion I would build a ship bigger than Oasis and compete against RCCL

Why pay 10 billion for a 1.4 billion ship when you can just build 6 of your own? or an even bigger version

But to answer your question, I agree with the guy above that if RCCL made an agreement to delay the sale for 2 years to build another Oasis then they'd sell it
