Looking at the April 12th 7 night cruise to the W.Caribbean on RCCL, out of Galveston, TX. But...with Hurricane Ike, I guess the port is still recovering from flood damage? Anyone have any clue when cruises will be up and running again there, and if I did book that one, shouldn't things be good again by that date?Galveston, TX port-still damaged?
I guess they plan to be up and running before that. I have a RCCL cruise out of Galveston in the beginning of January and so far my itinerary has not changed. When I called RCCL to inquire they said that the ship is leaving from Galveston as scheduled and at this time they have no plans to change the itinerary.
