Hi! Me and my hubby's one year anniversary is coming up in August. I am not really sure what to do! I've already told him, er, asked him, what I would like- a diamond anniversary band to match my wedding band- but he has not dropped any hints to me. Before anyone says anything, the band I want you can get on Ebay for about $300 (where i got our wedding band) and I spent a little more than that on him for his bday this year... anyway, we are both HUGE Chicago white sox fans. We havent been able to go to any games this year because of either his work schedule or me being preggo. Well Im due in a cpl weeks here, and our anniversary is august 23rd. The white sox happen to be playing a home game against the angels (i think) that day. So i was thinkin about getting some good seats, better than we've had before anyway, and not tell him about it until us cellular field is in our field of vision. but that would kinda be a gift for me too.... so i was thinking about surprising him that morning with a new authentic game day jersey reppin his fav pitcher- bobby jenks. and then tellin him when we got to the game he can drink has much as the $6 beers as he wants, guilt free. and then surprising him with dinner at Mike Ditka's restaurant after the game....
if you were my hubby, would you be happy with that?? i initially wanted to buy him bears tickets, but even for the worst seating tickets are like $150 each..... if we were to go to a bears game id want to be able to see the field....
so opinions please!Would this be a good anniversary present? (men answer please!)?
Oh hell yes great present. Enjoy the game . Most woman on here think they should wrap themselves in saranwrap . You know what a man really wants that's for sure.
that sounds great I like that ideaWould this be a good anniversary present? (men answer please!)?
Eh, sounds pretty lame... If I was your husband I'd divorce you because you keep using words like "Hubby" and "preggo". Also, gross, you'll ruin your body by having a baby and It'll probably grow up to hate you. You might still have time to get rid of the little parasite though. I'd act promptly if I were you.
I think that is a great idea. It is very thoughtful, and it creates a memory for the two of you to share together for years to come. Yes, you wanted male answers, but I had to say I agree 100% with the men here. He will be totally psyched! You get 45 good wife points right there.
