I moved out of there a couple years ago but my fav restaurant was Hardy boys. Jacks American Blend is a great restaurant, however it is kinda out of boystown on Halsted just north of Belmont. You cant not find something fun to do after, Halsted is crawling with fun stuff from, Blue Man Group to spin nightclub to showtunes at sidetracks on Monday nights.

Check out this website. It covers everything. Including resturant reviews. Looks like a lot of dinning choices. Have a great time. :)I need some help with this...?
First off let me say congratulations on your anniversary. In this day in age it seems that gay and lesbian relationships are very hard to find.
I don't really know any places to eat in Chicago because I have only been there once, but here's a suggestion to what you can do after your restaurant plans.
After the dinner is over, take him back home. However, before you get there arrange it to where you have beautiful rose pedals spread out everywhere, nice sensual slow music playing, a grand old fashioned cake with candles burning, and a smooth selection of wine.
Now after you blind fold him and lead him to the door, let him know that is time to relax and that you want to show him how much you appreciate him and this loving relationship.
Take off the blind fold and lead him in, he will be so shocked and in aww that his face will light up. Trust me, he will remember this day and you for a long, long time. Now after you wine and dine him, and feed him the cake, take him to the room for a hot oil massage. Now we all know where a hot sensual oil massage may lead, so I will leave the rest up to your imagination... LOL!
Again, Congratulations and may you have many more to come..
First off happy almost one year with you and your boyfriend...second off im not from the chicago area so i cant help you with the dinner choices BUT i think that if its a nice night out you should take him to a park, or a beach, or someplace really nice that you two can be alone and look up at the stars...i dunno thats just something i would do if it was my one year...you have to make it really unique tho and make it something from you b/c thats what your boyfriends REALLY going to want to see! but your already on the right track so i think you'll do fine! Good Luck and let us kno how it goes :)
Congrats. to you, take the time to be alone and romantic, pick a secluded place you can be alone and have a wonderful time.
