I'm flying into Midway Airport tomorrow... staying in the area for a few weeks. What are some good restaurants in that area? I heard the house hughes is good, what else is there?I'm going to Chicago... I need good restaurants...?
If you are steak fan you must absolutely go to Morton's and Wildfire.
Sandwiches...Potbelly sandwiches.
Hotdogs...Portillos, Super Dog, or Jean and Judds.
Gyro's... Mr Greeks,
Ribs...Carsons
Pizza...Lou Malnatis, Giordanos, Ginos, Home Run Inn.
NIghtlife....head over to the corner of Rush and State. If this is not your scene hit up the Hotel bar in the Peninsula
Low profile and not real "upstyle", but if in Chicago, hit Numero Uno. Best pizza you'll get-its an icon. I stop there every time in the Windy City.I'm going to Chicago... I need good restaurants...?
Billy Goat, Lower Wacker. Chee Burga Chee-Burga Chee-Burga
Ed Debevics (Prepare to be verbally assualted by the wait staff)
Pizzeria Uno, Gino's East.
Giordanos Is A Old School Pizza Parlor %26amp; It Is Right Next To Midway....Or You Can Get On The Orange Line To 35th/Archer %26amp; Go To "LOS COMALES" but Its a Bit Dangerous Over their!
If you are near Miday, go to Just A Pizza. It's a little dive with GREAT Chicago pizza!!! It is on Archer and Keeler (between Cicero %26amp; Pulaski) Take out only, but hell eat it in the car!!!! It's THAT good!!!
Downtown go to Bona Vino's on Van Buren. Cheap and GREAT food!!! It's near the board of Trade
Go to greek town...they have a lot of nice restaurants with good food...its a little bit pricey but tasty
When you are left hungry at late at night jump on the l to Rosevelt and walk west to Canal to White Palace for resonably priced food available 24 hours a day. Anothe 24 hour diner is Huck Fin's.
For breakfast you cannot beat Orange.
My personal favorite in China Town is Joy Yee Noodles. There menu is enormous, they have amazing fruit smothies and freezes, and their food is delicious.
At Union and 31st (I think) is a little pizza and italian beef place called Freddy's that has awesome fried mushrooms and pizza puffs.
Giordano's and Pot Belly's have tons of locations down town.
The great thing about Chicago is there is food everywhere downtown, but if you plan to eat during dinner on a weekend at a nice place, reservations are a great idea. Have fun.
How about Moody's Pub?
